![]() ![]() Commander effects, knights, terrain and advantages all modify these numbers. Somewhere in the fight they will be outnumbered 2:1 or 3:1 and it will be a slaughter. But considering how casualty phases work and the fact that bowmen have half health they will drop very quickly. I'm pretty sure the math works out so that 100 bowmen = 2,500 damage and 1000 toughness vs 3,200 damage and 2200 toughness. If I have bowmen and you have armored footmen then my bowmen will get destroyed. Bowmen have 25 damage/10 toughness and Armored footmen have 32 damage and 22 toughness. If neither unit counters each other then we compare stats and see how they fight. If my units "counter" your unit then your unit has reduced damage - down to as low as 10% damage. My brain defaults to heavy infantry so that is what I will be calling armored footmen. ![]() Pikemen counter horsemen and armored footmen counter pikemen. Archers counter skirmishers and horsemen counter archers. Skirmishers counter armored footmen (making armored footmen do less damage). This guide will focus on current strategies in the game as of the Royal Court DLC. ![]() I prefer to conquer huge tracts of land that I can pass down to my children. I personally find playing tall (own a small area of well developed land) boring.
